Charcoal drawing

Here’s my latest charcoal drawing-an expressive study of Michelangelo’s Moses! I focused on capturing the depth, shadows, and intricate details of the sculpture, especially the flowing beard and intense expression. The contrast between light and dark really helps bring out the dramatic feel of the piece.

Charcoal is such a great medium for this kind of study-it allows for bold shadows and delicate details at the same time. I really enjoyed working on this one!
